Design and interior fittings "DI brand"
At the beginning of this year, we were able to complete another prestigious DI interior design project on behalf of a globally active logistics group. The client, a global player from northern Germany, had chosen "DI X Concepts", DI's own design studio, to revive the interior design of a listed building at its headquarters in such a way that the materials, furnishings, wall, ceiling and color design reflected the historical ambience.
In this process, the finest architectural details from the last century were made visible again in the existing building. Sophisticated stucco work on round arches at the ceiling, delicate handwork on gold leaf coatings of historical wall paintings as well as the renewal of a completely removed and reinstalled glass façade called for a great deal of intuition in the realization.
After the floor had been removed, a high-quality American walnut parquet floor was laid in a herringbone pattern, the same materials that were used for the window sills, radiator panelling and the conference table, which can be arranged in variable sizes. Comfortable softshell chairs and designer lamps top up the elegant, warm and unchanged historical ambience. Backlit, textile-covered face panels serve both to improve acoustics and to give the room a spacious appearance with all its history.
Last but not least, the integration of state-of-the-art conference technology was required to ensure optimal room sound under special conditions.
